Tattoo Aftercare
At Revelation Tattoo we want you to not only leave with a great tattoo, but also to have a great healing experience afterwards. These aftercare instructions are intended to facilitate the healing process, and assist in healing your tattoo the best way possible.

Initial Care (First Few Days)
1 - Remove the bandage or Second Skin as instructed by your artist
2 - Wash hands thoroughly before touching the tattoo
3 - Gently wash with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap; don't scrub.
4 - Pat dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry (avoid cloth towels).
5 - Apply a THIN layer of recommended ointment (Griffin Salve, fragrance-free
lotion or similar)
Healing Phase (Days 3-14)
1 - Continue gentle cleaning and moisturizing 2-3 times daily.
2 - Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight.
3 -No soaking (pools, baths, hot tubs) – showers are fine.
Long-Term Care:
1 - Always use sunscreen on healed tattoos to prevent fading.
2 - Keep skin moisturized for vibrancy.
